Chad Meredith Hurley (born in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, on January 24, 1977) is an American businessman and engineer, best known as one of the co-founders of <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/YouTube">YouTube</a>.
He served as the <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Chief%20Executive%20Officer">Chief Executive Officer</a> of YouTube from 2005 to 2010.
Before co-founding YouTube, Hurley worked for <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/PayPal">PayPal</a> as one of its first employees, primarily focusing on user interface and graphic design.
In 2006, Hurley and co-founder Steve Chen sold YouTube to <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Google">Google</a> for $1.65 billion in stock.
After stepping down as CEO of YouTube, Hurley co-founded a company called AVOS Systems, which acquired Delicious, a social bookmarking website, in 2011.
